Balanced Man Scholarship

The Ancient Greeks believed in developing a Sound Mind and a Sound Body as the way to live a fulfilling life. SigEp adopted this philosophy with the Balanced Man Ideal and since 1990 has awarded the Balanced Man Scholarship to some of the best students coming to campus.

The Balance Man Scholarship is an opportunity for two males in the freshman class at Marquette University to be awarded for balance in their lives. This honor is bestowed upon men who exemplify exceptional scholarship, leadership, community service, and extracurricular involvement.

Do you live by the Balanced Man principles? Do you actively promote the stimulation of your mind and body? If so, you could be awarded the Balanced Man Scholarship. Two awards will be given to different recipients: a $500 and $250 scholarship. The only two requirements are that you are a male and achieved a 3.0 GPA high school GPA.

The Application must be completed and turned in by: November 15, 2009.
